
Belly dance isn’t only beautiful and fascinating to do, it is also very relaxing.
Belly dance is the basic from several different (modern) dances. Moreover: it is incredibly versatile: you dance with your whole body and not only with your belly! To learn to belly dance, in the beginning you just need two things: a good mood and a scarf or coint around your hips……..
Tall or small, thick or thin, young or old, everyone can learn.

We can say the following about our classes:
General
- Groups are classified as follows:
- * beginners
- * intermediate
- * advanced.
During beginner classes, the accent lays on learning basic moves (mostly based on the Egyptian dance)
During intermediate classes, the accent lays on learning how to combine all the basic moves.
Whereas the advanced dancers mostly work on learning to develop a personal style, techniques and skills will be combined with moving in your dance.
- Groups exist at a maximum of 15 persons.
- Holidays are the same as the school holiday schemes.
Techniques
The following techniques and skills will be educated:
- Isolations: hips, belly, breast, shoulders, arms, head
- Sjimmies (trembles): hips, shoulders, breast
- Zills (finger cymbals)
- Veil(s)
Bijzonderheden
The next specialties are free for members of the foundation:
- Instruction of BELLY BREAK a new form of belly-dancing that has been created at the Foundation and is constantly being developed by the foundation and integrates western cultures and backgrounds.
- The belly dance magazine "Dévoilée" => 3 times a year.
- Yearly you can participate in the International Festival for Oriental en Belly dance.
